Ever wonder how long it takes to do a project? Contractor may bid what ever they like, do you know how long it would normally take a person with similar skills and capabilities to do this job?...And what kind of conditions make the job more difficult?...

As an experienced carpenter I have seen a lot of stupid and intelligent ways and means of doing things.
Some things that take less time to do cost more in future...

I am seeking interesting comments and records of contractor time constraints, workers that perform great feats, How long did it take you to do that?...

As a craftsman I would generally tell people a good carpenter can fix most standard sized window and/or door in around 2 hours, including complete Remove and Replace (r&r)of unit.

I feel the more informed we are about the projects that we are planning the better we are making the big decisions...
